Question 1: My pins look dark shadowy color. How to fix this?

Answer: As the plugin uses armor stands for pins you'll want to use half blocks or none full blocks under the pins area that will let the pins be rendered the correct way.

Question 2: Do I need to purchase the default map or can I make my own and if so where can I get it?

Answer: No you don't need to purchase the default map, you can make your own but be sure to use slabs on the edges if you want the game to work proerly. If you want to get the map you can check it out here.
